On 15 January 2026, from 11.00 to 12.30,  APRE, DLR Project Management Agency and Access2EIC, the network of EIC/EIE National Contact Points, will organise the online webinar “EIC Advanced Innovation Challenges: Discover Opportunities Shaping the Future”. The event will be held in English.

This online information session is dedicated to the EIC Advanced Innovation Challenges, offering an overview of this new opportunity within the European Innovation Council (EIC)and providing valuable insights directly from EISMEA representatives.

The EIC Advanced Innovation Challenges aim to support high-risk, demand-driven deep-tech innovations with transformative potential, particularly in sectors where strong research activity exists but commercial application remains limited.

This pilot seeks to assess whether a competitive, phased support approach can accelerate market uptake of such innovations and whether the early involvement of demand-side actors can enhance their relevance, validation, and adoption.

The webinar will begin with the Programme Managers providing a brief overview of the proposed challenges:

Accelerating Physical AI – How to accelerate the development of physical artificial intelligence.

Translating Disruptive NAMs into Practice – How to turn New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) into concrete, applicable solutions.

The main part of the session will be dedicated to a Q&A session to help you prepare your proposal.
