The IP Training for EIC NCPs, organized by the Access2EIC Network, the European Innovation Council (EIC), and the European IP Helpdesk as a side event of the EIC Summit 2026, is a dedicated training session for National Contact Points (NCPs) focused on intellectual property management within EIC and Horizon Europe projects. The programme covers key IP concepts, IP management strategies for EIC-funded actions, freedom-to-operate considerations, protection and exploitation of research results, as well as practical guidance on patents, trade secrets, and commercialization pathways. Participants will also gain access to tools, resources, best practices, and real-life case studies to better support applicants and beneficiaries in strengthening the IP dimension of their projects
