We are pleased to announce that a new e‑learning course developed within the ACCESS2EIC project is now available on the Horizon Europe NCP Portal Academy*
This course is designed for NCPs researchers, innovation managers, and technology transfer professionals, as well as potential participants interested in EIC Transition and in the exploitation of research results through spin‑offs.
Having a promising research result does not automatically mean that it can or should be transformed into a viable business. The objective of this course is to provide learners with a clear and practical framework to assess whether launching a business makes sense — and, equally important, to recognise situations in which it does not.
The course introduces this framework through three cascading questions:
- Is it feasible?
- Is it sustainable?
- Is it scalable?
These questions are explored not only from a theoretical perspective, but also through practical examples, helping learners connect strategic reasoning with real‑world decision‑making.
Upon completion, learners can earn a digital badge, available at three levels:
- Basic
- Advanced
- Golden
The ultimate aim of the course is to enable learners to replicate this assessment process autonomously, applying it to business ideas they are developing or supporting, and to obtain a realistic and honest diagnosis of their commercial potential.
