Access2EIC informs the innovation community that the EIC Pathfinder Open 2026 call, published on 5 February 2026, contained an incorrect configuration due to a human error.
The European Commission is currently implementing a technical update, and the Funding & Tenders Portal is expected to display the correct information shortly. In particular, the Model Grant Agreement (MGA) type associated with the call will be updated to HORIZON Lump Sum Grant, in full alignment with the EIC Work Programme 2026.
It is important to note that this update concerns only the technical configuration of the call.
There are no changes to:
- the scope,
- the objectives,
- the eligibility conditions,
- or the evaluation criteria.
Applicants who had already started drafting their proposals will unfortunately be required to restart the submission process, as proposals created under the incorrect configuration would not match the official call conditions.
Once the portal has been corrected, all affected applicants will be contacted directly with instructions to restart their application process.
